Calling Time on 2012

Well 2012 has been quite a session folks - both established events/orgs and new new kids on the block have upped their games and bucked the national mood of gloom. New plans are afoot for the sector to help run its own affairs on behalf of the region and this is already bearing fruit in the way other organisations are taking us seriously and working more and more with the arts.
The Year of Creative Scotland wasn't exactly what the high heid yins hoped - but we truly hope that the good things about Creative Scotland (like their more equitable national approach) will be retained when CS Mk 2 emerges in 2013.
All in all the mood seems to be one of satisfied exhaustion mixed with excitement at what we call all make out of next year....bring it on! (but give us a wee breather first...)

A Very Herty Yuil and a Guid New Year to everyone from everyone at The Commonty
