'Just remember that your standing on a planet that's evolving...'

And now for something completely different...

Dumfries and Galloway's Science Festival 2013 is on it's way with everything from THE Science Pub Quiz to 'action packed science demonstrations'. New for 2013 will be two author events:

1. Jessica Fox, author of ‘Three Things You Need to Know About Rockets’ kindly hosted by The Station Hotel, Dumfries, at 7pm on Tuesday 30th April.

2. Sara Maitland, talking about working on a book based on conversations with scientists - trying to create a realm of the imagination, where science carries the same metaphorical richness as – for example landscape or spirituality. This event is kindly hosted by The Powfoot Golf Hotel at 7pm on Wednesday 1st May.
