Bell Casting in Creetown - Ring Out!

The Stove has had a wild weekend, in windy and wet Creetown - but by Sunday the new bell for Creetown was unveiled!

Roddy Mathieson of The Mobile Foundry along with his super assistant Kevin toiled through Saturday preparing the mould, which was finally poured the same day to a wee crowd that persevered through the damp conditions, and then traipsed back down the street on Sunday morning to witness the mould being cracked open.

See The Stove's flickr page for some photos of the process, more to follow on this one!!
