Green Meet with Creative Carbon Scotland

You are invited to Creative Carbon Scotland's first Dumfries and Galloway Green Meet on Monday 28th October (time/venue tbc - the meeting is likely to be held in Gracefield Arts Centre).

A Green Meet is an informal catch up where artists and arts organisations have the opportunity to get together and learn from one another's experiences of monitoring and reducing carbon emissions - the areas you've had success in, what you're struggling with or what you're feeling inspired by.

Held on a quarterly basis our Green Meets aim to create local hubs of artists and arts organisations working to reduce their environmental impact, allowing participants the opportunity to share skills, experience and knowledge and make progress on measuring and reducing their carbon footprint.

We want these meetings to be led by the areas of sustainability you want to learn more about. This could be anything from supporting more sustainable travel, introducing an effective environmental policy and action plan, or engaging your staff, so please let us know if there is a particular area you would like to focus on. The meeting will last two hours with time for a break and is open to any organisation interested in running itself more sustainably.

If you wish to attend or have any questions about the meeting please contact gemma@creativecarbonscotland.com

We look forward to hearing from you!
