Wanted: Fundraising & Project Development Officer

Watson Birds Project - Fundraising & Project Development Officer

We require an experienced individual with a range of demonstrable skills to help us complete a capital and revenue fund raising programme to develop Barone, the former Watson Family home in St. John’s Town of Dalry, into a visitor, exhibition, archive and research centre for birds and the arts. 

The work will involve researching, developing and submitting funding applications, managing the delivery and compliance of capital and revenue funding, developing and supporting a scheme for private donors and Friends and working with the Barone Steering Group and GCAT Trustees to help them maximise the potential of the project as it develops.

The post will be two days per week based in St. John’s Town of Dalry, on a 12 month contract (with a 3 month initial probationary period).   

The terms and remuneration are negotiable based upon what you might be able to bring to the project; especially a passion for what we are trying to achieve.
