Our former Visual Arts Officer Colin Tennant has done the decent thing and given up his day job to pick up his proper calling again as a photographer.
Colin made a lot of friends and earned a lot of respect in his time as Visual Arts Officer - and on behalf of all of us we'd like to thank him for all he contributed and all the people he supported in their practice.
Now it is time to welcome him as a important new artist in the region - he studied at Glasgow School of Art (after attending Dumfries High School) and has been a big contributor to the Glasgow art scene before coming back to D+G.
Colin is committed to a future in D+G and is looking for interesting opportunities to work with creative folk in the region.
