Having recently discovered the wonderful archive of STV's Talking Pictures on You Tube we're equally delighted to have found out this morning that STV have just announced a partnership with the National Theatre of Scotland to deliver a 24 hour online broadcast of live performances later this year.
STV will broadcast 'Five Minute Theatre' over a 24 hour period on Tuesday 21 June, and will work alongside the National Theatre of Scotland with 230 submissions from 11 countries featuring over 1,000 performers being involved in the project.
Most important for those of us in the Southwest who are served by BorderTyne-Tees, is the news the 24 hour event will be broadcast over STVs website through a dedicated microsite.
