Scottish Learning Festival - Call to Artists

Creative Scotland is funding a stand at the Scottish Learning Festival 2011 that will promote the impact that engagement with the arts in educational environments. We are looking for a cross disciplinary group of artists to carry out a creativity lab for visitors over the course of the 2 days of the festival, 21st and 22nd September, transforming the Arts Inspiring Learning space as they go.

The overall theme of the festival is Digital.

Artists are invited to submit ideas to engage SLF visitors (i.e Teachers, Local Authority Education Staff, Primary and Secondary pupils etc) in participating in a creative process(es). The resulting artworks will contribute to the overall transformation of the stall at SLF.

The total fee offered is £5000 which includes all planning, travel costs and materials etc. Set up on Tues 20 September and break down on Thurs 22 September.
