3rd Sheffield International Artist's Book Prize
Criteria: The Sheffield International Artist's Book Prize is a biennial, open submission exhibition, held in conjunction with and as part of the Off the Shelf Festival, which takes place in Sheffield during the months of October and November. The Main Prize is made up of cash and an exhibition at Bank Street Arts during 2012. The winner is decided by visitors to the exhibition who are asked to vote for their favourite entry.

Criteria: The award is open to artists working in water-based media born or now living in Scotland. The RSA William Littlejohn Watercolour Award (£2,000) funds a period of research and development for a new body of work. The award culminates in an exhibition of the resulting works at the RSA Annual Exhibition the following year.

RSA Morton Award for lens based work 2011
Criteria: The Morton Award (£5,000) is for artists working in a lens-based media to research and develop a new body of work. The award culminates in an exhibition of the resulting works at the RSA Annual Exhibition the following year. The award is open to artists who were born in Scotland or have studied at a Scottish art school or are working / permanently based in Scotland.

Pick Up Art Station Commission
Criteria: Artist/designer with experience of designing and making bespoke furniture for public spaces. firstsite Learning is inviting proposals from artists for a commission to design, develop, test and produce the Pick Up Art Station for the Family Learning Programme in firstsite’s new building.

Sculpture/Mosaic Project – Expressions of Interest
Criteria: Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced artists to lead a sculpture project in a low secure hospital in West Yorkshire for adults with mental health problems. The outcome would be to produce a sculptural form involving mosaic, which might also have a functional aspect.
