Florence Mine Egremont – Textile designer
Florence Mine is a new community arts space for Egremont, with the creative industries bringing new life to this inspiring site of industrial history.
As part of the refurbishment workshops are taking place to increase interest in the space and for the community to take an active part in its development. A range of artist led projects are being developed.
We wish to commission a textile artist to create a fabric design that can be used for upholstery at Florence. The inspiration for the fabric would be sourced from the maps and plans stored at Florence.
