Craft Opportunity Dumfries

Free Craft fair Opportunity, and call for Workshops/ Demonstrations

On Saturday August 20th  Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival is  organising a craft fair as part of In Our Town, a series a events on  the High Street Dumfries.  The aim is to make high quality crafts available. We are working with the market traders who will provide stalls, and a separate themed area around the Planestanes.

This event is funded through the Dumfries events programme, “In Our Town” so we are able to cover the cost for an 8ft* 8ft unpowered stall, with 8ft*4ft table. This includes trading license.  Other stall sizes can be made available, and power may be possible if required. Trading  hours are between 9am and 5pm.

We are also looking for people who are able to give demonstrations or workshops. We have a small budget available for this.

To see more about In Our Town you might want to take a look at dgartsfest.com or http://dgartsfest.posterous.com/

I do hope this is of interest, to book or discuss Demonstrations please contact me on dgartsfestival@gmail.com
