Summer Film Club in Dumfries

from Kim Ayres and Jean Atkin (send in by both of them)

Now’s the time to sign up for a brand new opportunity for would-be filmmakers, which will be taking place at The Midsteeple in Dumfries during the summer holidays.  Young people’s film club Scene1Take1 will be running four themed filmmaking clubs, each one lasting a week.

Each themed weekly club will run daily (Monday to Friday) from 10am - 4pm and costs £60 for the week (including lunch and afternoon snack).  Places are limited, so don’t leave it too late!

The film club weeks will be fully supervised by experienced young people’s filmworker Lee Van Wakelin, with the aim of making a film in a week.   Participants will receive a DVD of the finished film at the end of the week.  You don’t need to be a current member of Scene1Take1, and of course you can choose which theme you like the look of – or even come to more than one week.

For more information take a look at www.scene1take1.co.uk, and to find out more, or to book your week(s) please email Leevann_wakelin@hotmail.com.
