Culloden - launch of artists proposals

If you happen to be up North..... Following the research phase of a new project at Culloden, we're at the stage of being ready to share the artists' ideas and proposals for the next stage. We are going to need a LOT of participants to realise some of these events and are hoping that we can possibly rope some of you in, if you're game...

Still from Roger and Reid's video made as part of their initial research residency at Culloden - video here
The National Trust for Scotland, in partnership with IOTA & Highland Council, warmly invites you to attend a gathering at Culloden Visitors' Centre on Wednesday 10th August from 6.00 - 8.00pm.

This is a key moment for the artists' residency project which we wish to mark by bringing people together. This gathering is partly to say thank you directly to everyone who has generously given their time to the artists and partly to feedback what the artists have been working on & exploring during this first phase.

During the evening, we wish to informally bring everyone together who has helped to inform the artists' research phase and to share how these interactions have shaped their ideas.

6.00 - 6.15pm     Teas/coffees
6.20 - 6.50          Catherine Bertola
6.50 - 7.00          General conversation
7.00 - 7.30          Roger & Reid
7.30 - 7.40          General conversation
7.45 - 8.00          Wrap-up & thanks

Catherine Bertola will talk (for approx 30 mins) about her process and then outline her ideas. Graeme Roger & Kevin Reid will follow on from this (for 30 mins) and describe what they have been doing over the last few months & outline their proposal.
