Fankle - writers deadline

From Sally Hinchcliffe
A quick reminder to everyone that the deadline for submitting poetry and short prose to the next issue of the Fankle is the 31st August. The theme - which can be taken as literally or not as you please - is 'over a barrel'. Please pass the word on - submissions are now open to anyone living in the area.

We like to include a mix of poetry and prose, funny and serious or a combination of the two. Short stories (or non-fiction) pieces can be up to 850 words long, or longer in exceptional circumstances. But anything and everything is welcome
