Flooding in the Other Dumfries

There must be something in a name...this video clip offers an intriguing wee glimpse of life in Dumfries, Virginia.

Dumfries VA was founded in approx 1740 by one John Graham a native Doonhamer. The town crest includes a thistle to mark the connection.
Maybe they'd like to be part of the big Burns Supper?
