Those awfully clever and well funded scientific research folk have come up with another game-changing justification for mucking about with things in laboratories...secret messages (for spies) hidden in bacteria. This works by adding flourescence into the genetic coding of microrganisms so that when they grow they create a coloured pattern that can be deciphered.
