The Scottish Soulful Weekender is
Scotland’s FIRST Major Weekender Event and is the brainchild of YOGI HAUGHTON
(veteran DJ of 14 Southport weekenders and 3 Prestatyn weekenders), and co
promoter Marty Lee who is a black music enthusiast of over 20 years. Yogi is
also arguably one Scotland’s best known DJ’s, hosting and playing at some of
the largest black music events north of the border over the past 25 years.
Musically, the Scottish Soulful
Weekender will be a shrine for people that enjoy their music on the more
soulful and jazzy side; whether it be our large house room hosted by the world
famous Soul Heaven “The Pressure Point”, the diverse northern room “The Soul
Hole”, the alternative room “The Shrine”, or our eclectic bar “The Goldmine”.
You can expect only the most soulful vibes from some of the world’s top DJ’s as
well as the new talent eager to show off their knowledge and collections.
