Hope London comes from New York and a family of musicians. Apart from writing a few angst ridden teenage laments and singing with a high school garage band back in the 60s, she never gave serious thought to writing, much less performing, her own material until moving to Wigtown and jamming with local musicians who were writing and playing their own stuff. So she dusted off the piano a couple of years ago and just started. Hope will share songs that will feature on her first CD, still in progress, being produced by Huey Dowling at Unit 7 Studios in Bladnoch. ('photography by kimayres.co.uk')
