Jamie will be playing his original tunes on fiddle and singing select songs and this year will be accompanied by the talented and fellow antipodean James Fagan on bouzouki. James is also a fine singer.
This year Kiwi fiddler Jamie McClennan and Australian Bouzouki player James Fagan have joined up to form the enigmatic duo 'The James Brothers'. Performing a mixture of songs and tunes the pair have been delighting audiences with their dynamic playing and onstage humour.James was the winner of this year's BBC Radio 2 best Duo award with his wife, Nancy Kerr. He plays regularly in Cara Dillon's band and has toured and recorded with some of the top musicians in the UK folk scene. (Brian Finnegan, Eliza Carthy and many more)

Jamie McClennan has been the lead guitarist and fiddle player with Scottish singer Emily Smith for the past 10 years, performing live on the BBC Hogmanay TV show, STV's The Hour, BBC Songs of Praise and similar shows in Ireland, New Zealand, Russia and Australia.
He's also performed live with Emily on BBC Radio 2 show's with Bob Harris, Aled Jones and Mike Harding, as well as frequent appearances on BBC Radio Scotland.  They regularly tour in the UK, Denmark, Germany, Austria, USA, Canada and Australasia.

Jamie also produced and engineered Emily's recent album, 'Traiveller's Joy'.

Jamie McClennan and James Fagan are performing at this years Fiddle Festival in Edinburgh's Queen's Hall in November as well as playing a couple of concerts in Dumfriesshire (Beeswing Village Hall on Fri 18th Nov & New Cample Farm on Sun 20th Nov).
