Our Man in Holyrood

I represented the region at Creative Scotland's Parliamentary reception at Holyrood on Tuesday night - meeting with Fiona Hyslop, Andrew Dixon and Sir Sandy Combe and officially launching the BigBurnsSupper at Parliament.

The programme has been delivered to every single MSP in Scotland - and the response to Dumfries & Galloway Creative industries was hugely positive.

Fiona Hyslop was also marking the first year of CS operations, the Year of Creative Scotland as well as engaging with some of the emerging producers and makers from throughout Scotland.

It was wonderful to be talking up Dumfries & Galloway - and I spoke about our vibrant, southern region with pride about my fellow artists and makers, urging everybody to take notice of what we are doing.
