Call for Artists and Makers - Kirkcudbright, March 2012

Kirkcudbright Station 1959

Arts And Crafts Fair at Kirkcudbright, March 10 – 11, 2012

Dear Artist/Craftsman
We would like to invite you to take part at an excellent art and craft fair over the weekend of 10th -11th March at the Parish Hall in Kirkcudbright. The event is timed to be before Mother’s Day and Easter when there appears to be a lull in the arts and craft calendar, in the hope of attracting some quality artists as well as eager visitors. The event is one of several different kinds of events being arranged to help fundraise for the Kirkcudbright Academy Mongolia Expedition (October 2012).
The cost to participate is £12 for 1 day, or £20 for 2 days per table. Wire panels can be provided if you wish to hang items up behind or instead of tables). There will be somebody on hand from 10 - 4pm both days in the hall, although it’s best that participants look after their own displays for majority of the time.
The event will be open to the public between 10am – 4pm on the Saturday (we hope to be able to get the hall earlier for setting up, otherwise we will open the doors at 11am), and from 11- 4pm on Sunday: the parish church will use a small part of the hall for coffee between 10.30 -11 but we can enter the hall from 10am if we wish to be on hand in case the parishioners wish to purchase anything, or to tidy our tables.
