‘Beyond The Garden Gate’

Flyers are now available from libraries, visitor information centres and public places
for Moffat Book Events Beyond The Garden Gate, a celebration of books, gardens and
gardening taking place on May 26th and 27th 2012.


Stars to appear at the weekend-long festival are:
• gardening doyenne Anna Pavord, author of best-selling The Tulip; The Flowering
Year; Anna Pavord's Gardening Companion; Hidcote; The Border Book; The New
Kitchen Garden; Plant Partners and most recently The Curious Gardener.
• international garden photographer and writer Jennifer Gough-Cooper, who will
be discussing her latest book ‘Origins’, and her long term working partnerships
with Scottish artists Richard Demarco and Ian Hamilton Finlay
• Richard Wheeler, renowned National Trust garden history specialist
• Janet Wheatcroft of world-famous Moffat garden Craigieburn
