Jean in Glesgie and Embra

Jean Atkin, D & G writer and poet, (http://thedogdaysofdumfriesshire.blogspot.com/p/read-poem.html) is Springing up all over. She's off to Glasgow to read at Poetry@TheIvory (http://www.facebook.com/pages/PoetryThe-Ivory/151334108232878) this month (15th March).  
Well-known writer and workshop tutor Kate Tough has put together a line-up of women poets to celebrate (only slightly late) International Women's Day. Jean will be sharing the stage with JL Williams and Patricia AceJean, who is published by Ravenglass Poetry and Dumfries and Galloway's own award-winning Roncadora Press, has also been invited to read at Scotland's leading platform for live poetry, Shore Poets (http://www.shorepoets.org.uk ) in Edinburgh on Sunday 25th March, in the company of renowned poets Norman Kreitman, and Jane McKie.
