Street Theatre Performance Opportunity!

Street Theatre Performance Opportunity!

Have you ever fancied performing to thousands on the streets.... Ever wanted to perform at Scotland's biggest Festivals....?

Then Fish Out Of Water is the project for you! Conflux are embarking on a Street Theatre Performance project In Dumfries and Galloway, to perform alongside the Tide Machine. The project will involve rehearsing with a team of Conflux artists and preparing 5 new shows to be performed in Dumfries. No experience is necessary – just a willingness to try out new things!

We are looking for up to 50 performers to be involved in this great opportunity. After working with our artists you will perform at a Festival near you. The project is free and all props/costumes will be provided by Conflux. The project will be in Dumfries and Galloway between the 18th and 21st of May and then the 5th – 9th of June. Performances on the 8th and 9th. There will then be the opportunity for 10 people from each area to come to Glasgow for the weekend and perform at the Surge/Merchant City Festival – one of Scotland's biggest festivals! We're particularly keen to hear from groups young or old who fancy trying something new.
