Life, Love and Liberty open day Saturday April the 21st
Hello, l am currently working with Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival to produce an exciting new event which sits outside their normal festival schedule. The event called Life, love and liberty will be three promenade theatre performances taking place on the 21st and 22nd July. The performances recognise the importance of Dumfries as Burns Song shop and celebrates the latter years of his life.
I would like to invite you to an open day on the 21st April in Greyfriars church Dumfries to find out more about this very special project. We are looking for people with a variety of skills to assist, these include Stewards, Costume makers, set designers, youth workers, actors, actresses, singers, musicians and people of influence within the Burns and theatre communities.
The celebrated actor John Cairney has been specially commissioned to produce the script and will act as the events Artistic Director.
John indicated that the following roles would be key in a cast of over 30 performers.
