Gaelic Language & Literature Day
Dumfries Crichton Campus:
Saturday 8th September 2012

2 classes to choose from.
1.  Beginners Gaelic Class
2.  Creative Writing Class (In English)

Programme:
10.00am- 10.15 am Arrive
10.30am- 12.00 pm Beginners Gaelic 1 or Creative Writing
12.00pm- 1.30pm Beginners Gaelic 2 or Creative Writing
1.30pm – 2.00pm Lunch
2.15pm- 3.15pm Poetry Readings & Discussion with Aonghas MacNeacail (Angus Nicolson).
3.30pm- 4.30pm Conversation with the artist Sheila Mullen (whose work has been inspired by Scottish Literature including Angus’s poetry).
4.30pm - 5.00pm Depart

All places need to be reserved and paid for in advance.
The cost for the day is £10, which includes tea/coffee breaks, and lunch.
Concessions available/ half day attendance

6.30pm – 8.30pm “Open Mic” Ceilidh upstairs Coach & Horses Inn Whitesands.
Nach thig sibh a-nall?
Come along and recite a poem, tell a story, sing a song;  
(Preferably in Gaelic, but not obligatory).
No need to register, no charge. 
Food & drink  available on the premises for purchase.
