D&G Dance Practitioners Network Meeting

Saturday 1st December 2012 2.30 - 5.00pm
Pilates with Jane Studio, 12-16 Terregles Street, Dumfries, DG2 9AB
£2 per participant (Contribution towards studio fees and future events).

Dumfries and Galloway Dance Practitioners Network aims to bring dance artists from across region together to skill share and build links for future collaborations.  The overall aim is that sessions are delivered quarterly in venues across the region by the local practitioners.  Following a successful Stewartry based meeting in September, we are pleased to announce a second meeting in Dumfries on Saturday 1st December 2012 at 2.30pm.  Sara Lockwood will deliver a Margaret Morris Movement session followed by an opportunity to discuss dance in and around the region.

We encourage anybody with a love of movement to attend.  The initiative is designed in the hope of building a wider network of local artists/ enthusiasts and therefore we would like to encourage practitioners to participate in sessions even if they are unfamiliar or inexperienced in the specific dance form.  Practical sessions will be pitched at an informative level and gauged by the experience of those at the session.

If you would be interested in hosting a further session either as a dance practitioner looking to share your skills or as a venue please get in touch.

If you have any questions, would like to register as attending or if you would like to join the network please contact Emma J Park at emmajpark@gmail.com.
