Start the festivities with some family facepainting on Halloween night (Wednesday 31st), then join the fancy dress parade through the streets of New Galloway at 6pm. Finish up back at The CatStrand for dancing for wee ones at 7pm and a screening of a short ghost film
made by local teenagers at 8pm.
Look out for workshops in October for lantern-making (all ages) and film-making (age 12-16). Keep an eye on www.facebook.com/thecatstrand for updates.
Why not perform a spooky treat at The CatStrand’s Open Stage on Thursday 1st November at 7.30pm, then head back on Friday 2nd at 8.30pm for the adults’ fancy dress party: “The Ugly Bugs Ball”. Expect themed decorations, spooky cocktails and prizes for the best
