Printmaking workshop Lockerbie.


Craigshaw Barns,Waterbeck nr Lockerbie is the home, studio and print workshop of Colin and Heather Blanchard.
Experienced printmaker and teacher Colin Blanchard is now offering the opportunity to learn the basics of one of the most versatile of creative printmaking techniques: that of ‘silk’ screen printing.

Over two full days (usually a weekend) a maximum of three participants will learn how to conceive, plan, and produce their own small, limited edition of an 'artists print'. The course will cover simple techniques of making hand made stencils, how to mix and print with non toxic inks to produce vibrant exciting and unique images.
The courses are suitable for both total beginners and for established artists wishing to explore a new and rewarding medium.
All basic materials required will be provided and lunches and refreshments are also included.
