Breabach @ CatStrand

Wednesday 28 November 7.30pm
The young Highland five-piece – previously nominated as Best Band by Radio 2 Folk Awards and the Scots Trad Music Awards – now unites the thrilling talents of Calum MacCrimmon (pipes/ whistles), Ewan Robertson (guitar/vocals), James Mackenzie (pipes/flute/whistles), Megan Henderson (fiddle/vocals/ stepdance) and James Lindsay (double bass). Founder members and new recruits have forged a fresh creative dynamic, further enriching Breabach’s signature synergy of songs and tunes, traditional and modern, sweetness and fire.

“As disciplined as they’re fiery, as tasteful as they’re exhilarating, they blend the best of old and new in truly compelling style” Scotsman
