Big Burns Supper festival was launched in typically glamorous style last night in cosmopolitan Dumfropolis. 
BBS now occupies 3 storey premises (formerly Millets) just up the street from The Stove.....you can't move for arty types in town these days..

Festival Director Graham Main announced the details of this years programme with a jaw dropping 101 separate events in 45 venues around the town over the weekend beginning 25th January 2013.

New to the festival this year are a Visual Arts Strand curated by Leah Halliday and a Spoken Word Strand curated by Mary Smith. Also new this year will be 600 seater tented venue sited at the Old Cattle Market on the Whitesands. All sounding very good indeed and major respect to the intrepid BBS team for pulling this all together!
