These and other musical events held in Greyfriars Church are wholly and mainly connected with the mission work of the Anglican congregation dedicated to St Bride which owns and worships in Greyfriars Church. Music is an essential tool of our mission to the wider community of Dumfries. All concerts are in fact the overture to our acts of worship and are part and portion of the act of worship which concludes the and fulfils the event. On occasions such as at Restorationtide the musical event is preceded by an act of worship. All are welcome. Christ was sacrificed on the Cross for all mankind.
