Job Title: Environmental Art Festival.Scotland (EAF.Scotland) Project Assistant
Description: Maintaining administrative support systems to ensure the effective and efficient operation of EAF.Scotland, supporting event co-ordination and associated on and off line marketing.
Details: £3600 - freelance fee of £90 per day for 40 days from March 2013 with potential for an extra 20+ days dependant on finding bids. We envisage this will be roughly 2 days per week between March – September 2013.

EAF.Scotland aims to build on the Dumfries and Galloway’s
unique environmental art pedigree by holding this inaugural Environmental Art
Festival.Scotland to celebrate the region's connections with the subject, explore its landscape identity and debate its sustainable future.
Wide Open,Spring Fling and the Stove will work with other cultural organisations as well as environmental partners such as the Carbon Centre, The Solway Centre, Scottish Natural
Heritage and Forestry Commission Scotland.
EAF.Scotland will be held between 24th August - 1st September. The festival will create new work and debate with cutting edge practice, temporary commissions, workshops and talks by
experts in the field of art and environment.The commissions will begin earlier in the
year and there will be related activities, such as talks and lectures
throughout the year.
The festival will build on the region's national and
international reputation as a centre for environmental art, it is envisaged that this will
become a biennial International Environmental Art Festival.
