Claire Cameron-Smith and Colin Park @ The Nail Factory

A new exhibition of works opens at The Nail Factory next week, running from the 5th to the 30th of April, featuring new works by Claire Cameron-Smith and Colin Park.

'Claire in her Mandala series is exploring colour combinations by printing random patterns within geometric shapes, in particular the circle.

Colin has produced a series of carved and painted wooden heads which develop further his paintings and wood blocks articulating his move towards sculpture and carving in wood as well as painting and printing.

Claire and Colin share an approach to working beginning  with a free mind and allowing the medium to dictate the end result.'

Commonty readers are invited to the preview evening on the 5th, from 7-9pm.
For more info about the artists head to Claire's website here and Colin's here
