Creative Scotland Open Sessions - before tomorrow

Much anticipation around the region's knitting bees as we wait for the latest Creative Scotland roadshow to roll into town (Minister of Culture last week and the Board is coming next week....don't they have homes of their own?).
Tomorrow is (drumroll) the latest in CS's Open Sessions - these are part of the organisation's new commitment to consulting with the sector about their role, remit and working methodology. From the word around the nation the previous sessions have demonstrated a really good level of debate and a willingness on all sides to listen and uncover common working practice.

Pat Kane #CSopen in Inverness last week
By way of an appetiser before tomorrow - check out Pat Kane's blog about last weeks Open Session in Inverness last week.....this also includes a recording of the address made to the meeting by D+G's own agent provocateur Matt Baker.

If you can't make it along tomorrow and you use Twitter then do follow #csopen a great way to follow and contribute to what is happening live in the room.

Details (including the list of speakers) for the Dumfries event can be found here
