DownLoad - Young Volunteers Required

Have you heard of DownLoad?
DownLoad is a confidential online support service for young people aged between 12 and 25, which is run by young people, with minimal support from myself and Sam Brown (LGBT Youth Scotland)  The young people who run it are trained befrienders through Facebook, MSN and Ebuddy.
We are looking to recruit new young volunteers to run the project – all will receive training to enable them with the skills to do this.
They would need to be available Monday nights, but we are hoping that if there is enough young people, a rota would get put in place so that they wouldn’t need to give up every Monday.
Have you got any young people aged between 16 and 25, who you think would be suitable to volunteer at Dow n load?

It is a great opportunity for young people to get involved in volunteering and to be accredited for their efforts.
If you would like any more information or have someone in mind, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
