RLT - Adam Urey & Susie Milne at the Swallow Theatre |
Wigtown
The Swallow Theatre will be running Youth Drama Workshops in Wigtown, July 29 - August 2 2013 from 10 am to 4 pm
You may feel it when listening to a song,
You might find it in a bite of food,
You could feel it when you're watching your favourite programme or when your pal cracks a joke.
How much time does it take, how far would you go to make you feel happy?
Come and join us for an exciting week this summer and create an original piece of theatre with director Jodie Wilkinson.
During the week you will devise your own piece of theatre – using drama, movement and music. On the final day you will perform it to an invited audience.
Jodie Wilkinson is a Glasgow based artist who works with communities and young people to create new, innovative pieces of theatre. She works at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (previously RSAMD). The week is open to young people aged between 10 and 17, and will be held in the Supper Room, County Buildings, Wigtown. The cost for the week will be £10. If you'd like to take part, please get in touch by phone or email
