Still Life opening at McGill Duncan

McGill Duncan Gallery's new exhibition The Art of Still Life celebrates still life in paintings and ceramics.

Exhbiting artists include: Josephine Broekhuizen, Leo Blamire, Rebecca Callis (ceramics), Sue Dunne (ceramics), Claire Harrigan RSW, Simon Laurie RSW RGI, Ewan McClure, Jock MacInnes RGI, Joe McIntyre, Sandy Murphy RSW RGI PAI, Jame Orr, Alexander R Robb, Glen Scouller RSW RGI and Helen Turner PAI PPAI.

The exhibition opens on the evening of Friday the 30th of August. Drinks will be served between 7 and 9 pm.

Artist Ewan McClure will be painting a still life during the opening so this is a great chance to see him at work. Ewan had a self portrait accepted to the prestigious BP Portrait Award 2013 at the National Gallery, London.

The exhibition runs until 31st October 2013. McGill Duncan Gallery is open 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
