Get Scotland Dancing in D&G

From Sara Lochwood
Sarah Jackets and myself (Sara Lockwood) are the Dance Advocates with CABN. We are hosting an engagement event for GET SCOTLAND DANCING and we want as many local dancers/dance teachers/companies to get involved.
James Allenby from Creative Scotland will be explaining all about this exciting dance project for 2014.
People can sign up to attend one of the events by visiting the website: http://www.getscotlanddancing.org/
Get Scotland Dancing
You're invited to Join the Movement!
In 2014 we want to get more people dancing across Scotland than ever before.
We can do this by uniting a network of places to dance and promoting participation through a programme of high profile events across Scotland. Join us at one of these events to find out more:

Stranraer Engagement Event
Sunday, 27 October 2013, 12.00pm - 2.00pm
The Movement Room, The Ryan Centre, Stranraer

Dumfries and Galloway Engagement Event

Sunday, 03 November 2013, 2.00pm - 4.00pm
The Bar, DG One, Dumfries

So what is Get Scotland Dancing? Why should I get involved? How do I Join the Movement?

Come along to find out the answers to these questions and any others you might have. We're uniting a network of every dance activity provider in Scotland and that means we want you to be involved.

This two hour session will introduce you to other dance activists in your area, bring you up to speed on what Get Scotland Dancing can do for you and allow plenty of time to ask questions and discuss issues relevant to dance in your area.
