SIREN - Opening in Carlisle

Fine Art students from the University of Cumbria are putting the final touches on their annual Seconds Out exhibition which this year has stepped out of the university buildings and into the town, commandeering The Old Fire Station. The multi-disciplinary course includes emerging artists working in video, performance, installation as well as photography, sculpture and painting. For more details on the event, check out their Facebook page here
The Old Fire Station is down on Warwick Street, and is currently under a pilot scheme by Carlisle Council exploring the potential of the venue as a new arts space for the town. More details on opportunities arising as part of that pilot scheme which runs until the summer here
