A new addition to The Commonty inbox this week - Solway Firth Partnership have a shiny new Newsletter:
One of their headline items is news of the Sea Monster created by Alice Francis and Rosie Giblin at Red Haven shore near Auchencairn. The Sea Monster was commissioned by Solway Firth Partenership and featured in Environmental Art Festival Scotland 2013.
The Sea Monster survived until the recent big storms and became a popular feature which also drew attention to the amounts of rubbish in our seas.
Read about the project and see a short film made by students from 3 European countries who also helped out with the Sea Monster
