Conference of Light

An interesting conference on light in regeneration and heritage contexts is taking place in Chester next month. Speakers will include Hervé Descottes (founder of lighting design consultancy ‘LObservatoire and 2012 Lumen Award Winner for work on New York’s High Line), Shona McCarthy (Chief Executive of Derry-Londonderry City of Culture 2013), Nayan Kulkarni (artist of place and light, co-winner of a Corus Structural Steel Award in 2009), David Cotterrell (artist of encounters and intersections and Professor of Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University).
