DG Arts Festival 2014 Tickets on sale

Tickets to the 2014 Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival are now on sale at The Midsteeple box office, Dumfries.

For another year the festival brings 60 top quality performances and events in music, drama, dance and literature to 30 venues across the region.

Here's a chance to experience a night at the opera with Opera A La Carte's outstanding performance of Madama Butterfly; or to hear a couple of highly acclaimed concert pianists, Worbey & Farrell, combine their remarkable musical talent with a wicked sense of humour.

Tales from Mystic India will be told in a stunning original dance production by the Anna Purna Dance Company and Dumfriesshire dance troupe Oceanallover will be exploring the relationship between sound, movement and the environment in a spectacular and unique performance in Dumfries.

Gatehouse of Fleet plays host to The Big Lit event - a two-day extravaganza of poetry, books, music, theatre, comedy and exhibitions; while a lively fringe takes place alongside the main festival stages and include Murray the Magician, The Wild Myrtles and a ghost hunt at Lochmaben Castle with Dumfries and Galloway's leading paranormal team Mostly Ghostly.

To book your tickets, drop in at The Midsteeple box office, High Street, Dumfries, or telephone 01387 253383.
