DG Arts Festival Opens with Opera

It's nearly upon us, The Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival begins next week with a sensational night at the opera at the Easterbrook Hall on the evening of Friday, May 16.
The festival opens with Madam Butterfly to be performed by the wonderful Opera a la Carte and the event will herald the start of a first-class programme of performing arts events featuring 60 acts in 30 venues across the region.
An eclectic mix of music, dance, theatre and literature ensures there's something for everyone.
All tickets to the core programme are half price for the under 26s
