Spring ahead with Spring Fling


Spring Fling 2015 Applications will be open 1 Sep - 10 Oct 2014

After another successful event in 2014 (Facts document can be found here), Spring Fling is getting the ball rolling for 2015. From 1st of September, applications will be invited from artists how are based locally and beyond. 

Keep your eyes on www.spring-fling.co.uk for updates and details, in the meantime, here are some sessions we have planned to help you strengthen your applications.

Spring Fling Roadshows - Information Sessions | 8 September 2014 | Stranraer & Dumfries

We are holding our popular one-to-one information sessions again for those who’d like to apply. Come and meet the Spring Fling team for advice and support for your application to Spring Fling 2015 - places are booking up fast! Photographer Euan Adamson will also join us in Dumfries giving photography advice to artists who hope to apply. 


Photography Sessions | 8 & 11 September 2014 | Gracefield, Dumfries

Photographer Euan Adamson has kindly offered to hold advice sessions for those who come for our Roadshow in Dumfries. Euan will set up his equipment at Gracefield Arts Cenrte and will talk you through the 'goings on', examples of his work, including those used for producing Giclee prints will also be available to view.

We are also  happy to say that the renowed product photographer Shannon Tofts will also be at Gracefield Arts Centre on the 11th September. The sessions with Shannon will provide each artist/maker with 3 high-quality photographs and Shannon will also give you advice on how to best photograph your work. Discounts available for artists who are eligible for our Step-up Bursary. We strongly recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.
