This Way Up: Film Innovation Conference and Fund

THIS WAY UP: EXHIBITION INNOVATION CONFERENCE AND FUND – APPLY NOW




Tuesday 2 & Wednesday 3 December 2014, Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle

Film Hubs Scotland, North and North West Central are delighted to announce working together over the next three years to produce This Way Up: Exhibition Innovation, the first-ever annual event focusing on film exhibition.



The 2014 edition will take place at
Tyneside Cinema on 2-3 December, and features industry speakers and a programme of events designed to offer the nationwide exhibition sector a new platform for ideas, collaborations, networking and discussion.



A key part of This Way Up is the launch of the
Exhibition Innovation Fund, worth a total of £50,000, open to members from Film Hubs North, North West Central and Scotland. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a live pitch and up to three projects will be awarded investment to build and develop audiences for specialised and independent British film across the geographical reach of the three Hubs. The deadline for applications to the Exhibition Innovation Fund is Friday 14 November.
