Basketry and Beyond

Beyond the Basket began in 2009, its aim is to investigate the place of basketry in human culture. It will culminate in a major exhibition Basketry: Making Human Nature at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and the University of East Anglia, Norwich, from 8th February - 22nd May 2011. 

To coincide with this event we are organising an international conference, entitled Basketry and Beyond:Constructing Cultures and scheduled for 14th – 16th April 2011 also at UEA.
