The Scottish Artists' Union is there for artists - it gives us public liability insurance, discount at selected art stores, but above all, a contact point, advice and support for only £35 a year. The SAU also publish guidelines on issues like fee scales for employing artists - these have been adopted by Creative Scotland. Just contact: www.sau.org.uk  In these difficult times such support can be useful.
