Celebrating Weymouth and Portland’s natural environment...
This is an exciting opportunity for an artist to help develop ‘Waypoints ’
along a new Legacy Trail. At the heart of the Jurassic Coast World
Heritage Site, and where the gaze of the world will be upon it due to
the 2012 Olympic Games sailing events, the project is likely to attract
the attention of the media as well as much public interest.
The Waypoints will be places along a new walking trail (currently
referred to as the Legacy Trail but is likely to be renamed) that
encourage people to learn about and enjoy and explore Weymouth and
Portland’s natural environment.
Applications are invited from artists to work with the project team
from the concept design stage through to implementation.
