Forgotten Forests

from Elinor Gallant

Dear All Today I have launched a new project website for forgotten forests <http://www.rbge.org.uk/forgottenforests> . To celebrate UN International Year of Forests we (Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh) are inviting people to contribute forest pictures, videos and start a conversation to help us to show the diversity of forests, and the issues they face. You can ‘champion’ your favourite forest by adding it to our Google map, upload images and videos, and of course we will be tweeting from the trees! Go to the website to find out more: www.rbge.org.uk/forgottenforests <http://www.rbge.org.uk/forgottenforests> Our brief is very open-ended, and I look forward to seeing the creative response to what your 'forgotten forest' is. I'd really appreciate your support in getting involved and sharing this information with your contacts. Many thanks and best wishes Elinor Elinor Gallant elinor_gal@hotmail.com
